Lucas Anthony II
Lucas Anthony (b. 2000 Athens, Greece) is an emerging photographer who moves between fine art and documentary photography. At the age of only 23, Lucas has already seen his work in National Geographic, Scientific American, and Discover Magazine. Through travel, he captures scenes of nature in a way that encourages the viewer to explore the world and form a unique connection with the subject. His documentary-style pieces celebrate both the grandeur and the intricacies of nature and serve as an ongoing reminder of its beauty.
Lucas Anthony’s work has been exhibited at the Portland Art Museum and LACMA. He is in collections including LACMA and The Detroit Institute of Arts. He graduated with his BFA from the School of Visual Arts and his MFA from Pratt Institutes. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
