Hugo O'neill
Hugo O’Neill’s (b. 2000, Los Angeles, CA) new series focuses on capturing portraits of queer women who work in east LA. O’Neill is working towards several bodies of works that all focus on different queer groups throughout California. He started with his own queer community in Santa Monica and has traveled throughout California documenting different communities.
Hugo O’Neill’s work is in collections including the Brooklyn Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He got his BFA from California Institute of the Arts in 2022 and attended The Vermont Studio Center in 2023. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
